Pavement along Station Road from Cockpen Road to junction with A142 is incomplete. 50mph road with residential housing missing the safe access link with Fordham village

Pathway obstructed by verge erosion and vegetation, single file at most, impossible with buggy, wheelchair, children in 50mph road.

Path needed to access local woods

This track could link to NCN route 11 without a great deal of work.

The vegetation and trees along the footpath are taking over the path and they need cut back, so that two people can actually pass without having to risk their safety to go on the street amidst traffic

Missing Link: Join the southern end of Cockpen Road to the northern end of Broads Road. This route could be alongside Ness Road or a permissive path across farmland.

Install central refuge. This will help pedestrians and disabled to safely cross each carriageway. Currently negotiating opposing lines of 60mph traffic is a dice with death.

There is no pavement here. Just mud and trip hazards. If a pavement was added, it would be easier to cross before the turning, which is very wide and fast. Cars come at speed from all angles.

It is horrendous to cross the car park by foot, and impossible by wheelchair or with a pushchair - you have to walk in the road and by the blind corner that leads to Network Rail. By removing just two car parking spaces, and removing some o ... [more]

There is no pavement here, even though there is a bus stop. Just mud. A second pavement could allow for social distancing up Cam Drive, and to the new estate.

A continuous pavement from Beech Lane to St Mary's school would mean children would only have to cross one road to get to school.

Add pedestrian route to allow access along Angel Drove on both sides

Widen pavement full length of route to Little Downham. Too narrow currently for safe passage in both directions

Need a safe pavement and cycleway between Reach and Swaffham Prior

Need a safe pavement and cycleway between Reach and Burwell

Need a footpath on this busy road

Make Silver Street exit single lane (rather than one each for left and right) to allow for wider pavements at the top

There is no pavement/cycle path to Fordham. Building one would allow Isleham children to get to the Fordham school. S106 contributions would help.

Pedestrian bridge or rail crossing here would complete a circular footpath from Stretham along the river bank & back via Little Thetford & Burying Way.

Too narrow for social distancing

Straighten bollard (or preferably replace two with one) to allow prams/mobility scooters and people wheeling bigger bikes to get through

Cut back hedges so full width of pavement is usable

Path needed for walking from Long Meadow along Grunty Fen Rd and back into the village.

Far too narrow

The pathway is so small and especially in this time you have to walk in the grass or bike on the grass to keep your distance, it is also very uneven and hard to bike/walk on.

Widen footway to allow safer access to veg shed on foot

Widen the path as it's used by many families and school children as short cut.

Popular short cut from north Ely to the centre. Remove some parking and add cycle paths to both side on the road or widen the pavements.

The shared use path is far too narrow for use by pedestrians and cyclists in both directions under normal circumstances, with social distancing, impossible.

This corner feels very unsafe to cross, particularly with a buggy, as there's no visibility down parade lane and no drop kerbs

Make crossing diagonal so pedestrians /cyclists coming out of Cherry Hill don't block pavement queuing to cross to Jubilee Gardens

Too narrow for social distancing.

Add give way paint on the south side of this crossing. Currently drivers are told to give way heading south onto witchford Road, but not when turning in.

Clarify rights of way across driveways (some paint indicates the driveways get priority over the pavement, which doesn't seem right)

Reduce camber on pavements so it is usable with wheelchairs/prams

Add in wayfinding along this whole route so it can be properly used as traffic-free access to the housing estates/leisure Village etc rather than just as one long leisure route.

Remove parking outside CAB/Mayor's office and widen the pavement outside the solicitors / the bus stop so it's possible to pass safely

Add in drop kerbs at the end of Market Street so it's possible to cross over to the Lighthouse Centre

Add in drop kerbs at the end of Market Street so it's possible to cross over to the Lighthouse Centre

As the lights here all turn green at the same time, make this a scramble junction and enable crossing diagonally

Reduce enormous width and sweep of junction, add in keep clear signs between drop kerb crossings and prevent pavement parking outside Snippetts to make crossing here safer

Resurface and reconnect Springhead Lane to Lisle Lane (including rethinking the barriers and drop-kerb setup at the bottom) to be used as a relatively traffic-free cycleway and footpath.

Resize barriers or replace with bollards to remove "funnel" effect and allow pedestrians to use the pavements in a straight line.

Remove barriers and add in raised table crossing to improve safety. This is a shared foot/cyclepath to a primary school, playing field, brownies/scouts etc and current barriers are roughly head height for children on scooters on an artifici ... [more]

Widen / improve shared-use pavement along Main Street

Opening up more space for people around Soham High Street to create safe shopping area, e.g. using modal filters and other low-traffic neighbourhood techniques

Make each pavement one way to avoid poor social distancing - down on the right (same side as The Standard), up on the left (same side as Samovar)

Too narrow for social distaning

Widen the pavements as they are barely wide enough for an ordinary sized human, let alone to allow social distancing.

Pavement should be widened as it is too narrow to walk safely with children or dogs

I will be expensive BUT a bridge here for pedestrians and cyclists would help locals and tourists.
