Conflict occurs here with cyclists wanting to go straight up Back Hill, as road space dominated by cars queuing to turn right into Broad St. Widening and clearer on-road marking would help.

Cycling into town can be dangerous, facing oncoming traffic. These vehicles often seem not to realise that they may be facing oncoming cyclists, and do not leave room for us to pass safely.

There are lots of turning cars, from junction with Beech Lane, and from the Spar shop. A protected cycle lane on north-west edge would protect cyclists.

As the road is narrow for two lanes, and has lots of parked cars, it should be improved for cyclists and pedestrians. One way perhaps?

Cycle path need along the length of A1123

The A1421 needs a cycle lane, It is not wide enough for cars to pass and leave enough room when there is traffic in both directions, yet the majority still do, causing many close passes
