Link NCN11 up from Waterbeach station to Lug Fen. Should be funded from planning gain from the new housing in Waterbeach to allow the new residents access over the river.

Pavement along Station Road from Cockpen Road to junction with A142 is incomplete. 50mph road with residential housing missing the safe access link with Fordham village

Pathway obstructed by verge erosion and vegetation, single file at most, impossible with buggy, wheelchair, children in 50mph road.

Path needed to access local woods

End of pop-up cycleway towards Ely station - the Cyclists Rejoin Carriageway sign seems to have been moved!

Pop-up cycle lane towards Ely station

Create a cycle route from Lode to Bottisham Lock and Waterbeach.

In winter, the eastern end of Cherry Tree Lane is impassable to walkers, wheelchairs, bicycles as the surface is very badly rutted. The lane is (unintentionally) being used regularly as a route by delivery drivers getting lost using sat nav ... [more]

Very steep bridge with cycle wheel ramps which are too narrow for wide tyres. Yet right next to this bridge is a flat bridge left raised all the time. If the flat bridge was left down, this cycle route would be accessible to disabled cyclis ... [more]

The cycleway is very narrow. It is used by children walking or cycling to school from Swaffham Bulbeck to Bottisham Village College. However, a cyclist would have to go in the road to overtake a pedestrian. Frankly at the moment the path i ... [more]

People cannot cycle to Lancaster Business Park. Please provide a cycle friendly footbridge to enable Ely residents to safely get to/from work.

The vegetation and trees along the footpath are taking over the path and they need cut back, so that two people can actually pass without having to risk their safety to go on the street amidst traffic

Missing Link: Join the southern end of Cockpen Road to the northern end of Broads Road. This route could be alongside Ness Road or a permissive path across farmland.

Missing link: join the northern end of Broads Road to the southern end of Cockpit Road.

Install central refuge. This will help pedestrians and disabled to safely cross each carriageway. Currently negotiating opposing lines of 60mph traffic is a dice with death.

There is no pavement here. Just mud and trip hazards. If a pavement was added, it would be easier to cross before the turning, which is very wide and fast. Cars come at speed from all angles.

It is horrendous to cross the car park by foot, and impossible by wheelchair or with a pushchair - you have to walk in the road and by the blind corner that leads to Network Rail. By removing just two car parking spaces, and removing some o ... [more]

There is no pavement here, even though there is a bus stop. Just mud. A second pavement could allow for social distancing up Cam Drive, and to the new estate.

Conflict occurs here with cyclists wanting to go straight up Back Hill, as road space dominated by cars queuing to turn right into Broad St. Widening and clearer on-road marking would help.

Cycling into town can be dangerous, facing oncoming traffic. These vehicles often seem not to realise that they may be facing oncoming cyclists, and do not leave room for us to pass safely.

A continuous pavement from Beech Lane to St Mary's school would mean children would only have to cross one road to get to school.

There are lots of turning cars, from junction with Beech Lane, and from the Spar shop. A protected cycle lane on north-west edge would protect cyclists.

As the road is narrow for two lanes, and has lots of parked cars, it should be improved for cyclists and pedestrians. One way perhaps?

Add pedestrian route to allow access along Angel Drove on both sides

Widen pavement full length of route to Little Downham. Too narrow currently for safe passage in both directions

A couple of hundred metres of shared-use path would keep Cambridge-Newmarket cyclists off the A1304.

It is difficult to cross here because of 2 lanes of fast moving traffic. Perhaps an island to facilitate crossing for pedestrians and cyclists should be built here

A cycleway should be added along the edge of the field, to allow access from Norfolk Drive & Witchford, to head down to Angel Drove, and Station without needing to come into Ely.

Path too narrow all through Fordham

Wider path needed

Narrow path with tight turns on south side of crossing

No left turn into Waitrose car park to reduce traffic on fore hill, high street and brays lane by the market

Market Street is primarily a bus and taxi hub and should be closed to other motorized traffic. The pavements are far too narrow to allow social distancing, particularly when queuing for buses. 2 way cycle lanes and badly needed cycle par ... [more]

Difficult to cross here due to volume of traffic

Difficult to cross here due to cycle crossing being blocked by traffic waiting to leave Lancaster Way

Cycle lane needs extending to continue to Ely

Something needed to stop cars blocking the crossing for the cycle lane whilst waiting to get onto the A142

Create a 2 meter cycle way either side of the road and limit vehicle speeds to 40mph, from Ely to Littleport.

A safe crossing for the A142 and a shared cycle path Fordham to Burwell.

Make Silver Street exit single lane (rather than one each for left and right) to allow for wider pavements at the top

There is no pavement/cycle path to Fordham. Building one would allow Isleham children to get to the Fordham school. S106 contributions would help.

Pedestrian bridge or rail crossing here would complete a circular footpath from Stretham along the river bank & back via Little Thetford & Burying Way.

Having an incomplete section of cycle route on the downhill side of Angel Drove is pointless. Join it up to the A10 roundabout & Tesco roundabout.

One-way (with cycle contraflow) allowing eastbound traffic, east of the fire station, to support modal filtering on Chapel St and north of Lynn Rd/St Mary's St junction while maintaining access.

Modal-filter (by bollards or planters) Lynn Road, immediately north of the junction with St Mary’s Street? The pavements there are too narrow for social distancing, so using road space more efficiently by eliminating through motor traffic ... [more]

Road is too narrow for a vehicle to pass and give enough room, but many do not even slow down. Ideally road needs widening or at least some passing places adding

Road to ely. Fast traffic. Existing path notwide enough forc2-way cycles/pedestrians. Unsafe as also unlit

Infrastructure needed. It is really hard to turn right from the A1421 to the A1123 safely as drivers rarely give way even if you should have priority

Make one way to motor vehicles. I have been forced off the road by cars using it as a rat run when it should have been my priority

Something needed to prevent cars cutting the corner when turning at this junction. I have had several near misses when approaching the junction with cars on the wrong side of the road due to cutting the corner. it doesn't help that the road ... [more]

There is no cycleway from Sutton to Earith meaning cyclists have to take the dangerous bank road, which very few people do due to the levels of traffic thus cutting of Sutton from anything to the south of it, including the Cycle path to St ... [more]

Too narrow for social distancing

Widen shared path to the recommended 3m to allow for dictator distancing

Straighten bollard (or preferably replace two with one) to allow prams/mobility scooters and people wheeling bigger bikes to get through

Replace gate with lockable bollard/s to make entrance to shared path accessible without queuing around gatepost (and open it up to larger bikes and mobility scooters)

Cut back hedges so full width of pavement is usable

Fast roundabout with poor visability is dangerous to cross for pedestrians and cyclists.

Re-route NCN 11 to follow route shown on cyclemaps (through Jubilee Gardens, avoiding narrow footpath to Jubilee terrace.

Address the issue of cobbles on all the speedbumps in this area, that have caused accidents and damaged bicycles.

Complete cyclepath, as shown on planning consultation, to avoid mixing with 'leisure village' cutomers and conflicts in carpark/access roads.

Make cycling and walking across Paradise Field easier by removing a parking space, widening the gate and path and adding a dropped kerb.

Close pass/speeding hotspot. Cycle infrastructure/speed restriction enforcement needed here.

Path needed for walking from Long Meadow along Grunty Fen Rd and back into the village.

Needs cycleway/footpath from Sutton to Willingham

Far too narrow

The pathway is so small and especially in this time you have to walk in the grass or bike on the grass to keep your distance, it is also very uneven and hard to bike/walk on.

Make a cycleway between Sutton and Earith

There is no way to safely cycle between little thetford and stretham, a cycle path needs to be put along side the A10

Add shared use foot/cycleway around northern side of roundabout to reduce number of crossibg points from 3 to 1 making it 3 times safer and 3 times more convenient.

Widen footway to allow safer access to veg shed on foot

Remove barriers and make a shared use path

Close to motor traffic to give safe route out of ely to ncn11 ans stsubtney, will also make entrance to station safer for pedestrians and cyclists

Potential location for a cycle+pedestrian bidge to avoid the A10

Widen the path as it's used by many families and school children as short cut.

Keep open for cycling. It's the only safe route to the station!

Add proper segregated cycle paths for access from Ely to the business park and widen pavements for pedestrians using the long term car park and walk to the station

Close road to avoid rat running from A10 to A142 via Grunty Fen

Remove all traffic islands and use the space for proper segregated cycle paths on both sides of Lynn Road

Build cyclway from The Hive to WestFen Road + Coveney for direct access from Coveney to the Leisure Park avoiding the A10 crossing and for country side access from Ely towards Coveney.
